Blog 6: Postgraduate Studies

Today I'll write about a postgraduate study I would really like to have, which is Documentary Film. I would like to study in Portugal, and though I haven’t really done much research about any study plan being offered to students from abroad, I think Portugal, as I said in Blog 1, has a really great cinema. I think this because of all the Portuguese movies I have seen, where all have in common the depiction of really social and politic matters that are currently going on or have taken place in Portugal’s past. They usually depict unemployment, corruption and all kinds of issues that affect everyday life of the Portuguese people.

Another postgraduate study I would really like to have, if money time and health help me, would be something related either with photography or cinematography in New York or in Europe. Could be Berlin or London. I would particularly like to study in either one of this cities, because of all the stories they must have and their architecture, but also for all the knowledge that has passed through this places.

In a more personal interest matter, I would like to explore, packed with my film camera, the light this countries have and how this could help me grow as an artist in the field of photography.
